Madatory flu shots?
ArtisticOr rather, the vaccine.
I'm not sure at the moment which vaccine (my dad says is the regular flu shot) is being mandatory for all healthcare workers, but ITS ONLY IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK. Out of all 50 states, only my state is making it mandatory. And they're saying they're leaving it up to individual facilities whether to fire the workers who refuse to take it...
What if they make the new swine flu vaccine mandatory for all healthcare workers??? Yeah, I understand their whole speal about keeping patients unexposed and stuff. But threaten a workers job?
And to boot its an untested vaccine.
And BOTH of my parents are nurses. So, what am I supposed to do, as the eldest child, if both my parents become sick from the vaccine now or down the line? Crippled?
What if it kills them?
If anything happens, I don't care if I have no chance of winning, I am holding the state of New York and/or the American government responsible.
