Just randomly posting, because I want to have someone which I can fangirl over these series, but has anyone seen the anime series Ayakashi (preferably the last 4 episodes)?  Mononoke?  Mushi-shi?

They're three awesome series, but all very hard to explain.  It's almost like one of those shows or movies that you spend half the time in confusion and have to watch it several times in order to realize things in a good way.

And even then you're not 100% sure you've got it.

At the moment, I prefer the last episodes of Ayakashi/Mononoke, because they have the same nameless medicine man and his equally nameless/"wtf what is he" transformed state.  But dang is he an awesome charactr, and smexy to boot~

I've seen Mushi-shi the movie and just found out that its a manga/anime as well.  At the moment, I prefer the movie.  But in the movie at least, its insanely similar to Ayakashi/Mononoke.  I watched it 3 times and still have no idea what to make of the ending.  

I'll explain more later when I have a longer/better internet connection. But don't take my word for it, go and watch it!
